New Quarterly Publication ‘Our Council’

Hornsby Shire Council has begun supply of the primary version of a new council magazine, free publication to all residents of the Local Government Area (LGA).
Titled ‘Our Council’, the publication is to be delivered quarterly to mailboxes all through Hornsby Shire and includes updates on major projects, information on companies, native historical past and sustainability along with contact data for the Shire’s Mayor and every of its nine councillors.

Hornsby Shire Mayor Philip Ruddock AO says the publication ensures that all residents of the Shire really feel informed and updated on Council projects.

“To  New Quarterly Publication ‘Our Council’  of the web and digital gadgets, receiving a printed publication in the mail may appear to be a hark back to the past.

But as a various and inclusive group, it’s important that Council news and knowledge reaches all residents, not simply those who incessantly use social media,” mentioned Mayor Ruddock.

The first version of the publication contains updates on projects at Hornsby Park and Westleigh Park, newest waste and recycling information, Council’s efforts in mitigating vital street injury over the earlier years, and maps recent upgrades and new builds delivered for the neighborhood.
